Dear Mr. Trank:
In October, I found myself in a situation that threatened everything I have worked so hard to accomplish in my life. I was about to graduate in May, and being faced with DUI charges that would have put me severely in debt, diminished my chances of future jobs, and changed the course of my life completely. I never thought I would find my self in that situation, and I learned how easy it is to make one bad decision that could affect one’s life for years. You gave me hope from the second that I walked into your office, to the moment the Judge announced that he would dismiss my case. I just wanted to express my deepest gratitude for representing me, in what was to you, probable just another case, and to me – my life!
I’ve always thought that lawyers must have some of the toughest jobs out there, so I hope that this letter of “thanks” puts a smile on your face to know how greatly your job has impacted my life. Hopefully, I don’t have to see you again (ha), as I have learned so many lessons since that day, and plan on staying on the right side of the law from now on.

Dear Mr. Trank:
I would like to thank you and your staff for the excellent work you did in the handling of my case that concluded on October 6, 2008 in the Town of Plattekill, New York. You and your staff did an exemplary job on my behalf and again my sincerest appreciation goes out to all of you.
Again, thank you so much for your help and hard work regarding my defense. If I should need your assistance again in the future, which I hope I do not, I will know whom to contact for my defense.
Very truly yours,
When I got home from the courthouse this afternoon, I felt compelled to send you this email. I know that the trial is not over yet (and I don’t want to jinx ourselves), but I had to commend you on your performance in court today. Your command of the facts and issues (especially as you cross-examined their witnesses) was remarkable. To say that you have “out-lawyered” your adversary in this trial so far would be an understatement. Even the court attendant who was watching today smiled at me and said that “it was clear which attorney had done his homework.” I am certainly not surprised, however, because your attention to detail and preparation for each stage of this case over the past three years has been exemplary. Regardless of the outcome at the end of this trial, I just want you to know how much I appreciate all that you have done.
My Mom received her settlement check on Monday. My family and I are appreciative for the kindness, respect and patience you extended during one of the most difficult periods of our lives. Financially, this was not a “big” case for you and your firm, but you approached it as if it were. It did not inhibit the professionalism you displayed in seeking to get my Mom the highest settlement possible. It was a pleasure doing business with you. You stand out in a world that is becoming more cynical, self-absorbed and inconsiderate of the needs of others. All the best for the future.
On behalf of my son, Michael, I want to thank you for your professionalism in dealing with his case. I hope that we will never need your services for court cases, but we will recommend you to those who may. Again, your expertise was appreciated.
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your work on my behalf recently. I am very grateful for your efforts to obtain a settlement following the auto accident. Your professionalism, prompt responses to my inquiries and straightforwardness are much appreciated. Thanks again.
We just wanted to thank you for all you have done for us. You treated us more than fair and for that we are grateful. It is nice in these times to deal with someone that is genuinely concerned with your problems and with someone who is honest. Again, we appreciate all that you have done for us. Thank you!
